We have Cityview community members who have signed up to pray for every single hour of this week. Even if you have not signed up, please pray for Cityview this week.

Keep a prayer journal. If God speaks to you during this specially-set-aside week, we want to hear from you! Contact Pastor Trevor.

Here are some Week of Prayer tips from Trevor:

Great news! All 24 hour slots have been filled for our week of prayer. Which means that there will be someone praying for God's work at Cityview each and every hour for the next week! How exciting is that!!!

Here are a few tips to help you pray.

1. Keep a pen and paper, or your phone close by in order to jot down any thoughts or insights that you have whilst praying. I would love to have some feedback from you and next Sunday there will be an opportunity for us to share what happened during our time of prayer.

2. Each time you pray during the week, try to use the Lord's Prayer as your template. I suggest using it in this way:- (not compulsory but may help).

Our Father…Hallowed be your name – Give thanks and remember who He is to you (friend, helper, Saviour etc)

Your Kingdom come, your will be done – What is it that we, at Cityview, need to focus on this year. What is His will for us. How are we to be a Christ-Centered Community.

Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us – What is stopping me being the person I am called to be, what is stopping us being the community we are called to be. Is it sin, fear, apathy

For yours is the Kingdom, power and the glory – Finish by praising Him once more and asking him to fill you with His power.
