Celebrating Lalpi

In June, Lalpi will begin his new ministry position with the Roman Catholic Archdiocese. We want to bless him over-abundantly before he goes! Please consider participating in one or more ways:

• Create. Write a letter, make a photo collage, or create something beautiful for us to put in our Celebration Book. Submissions need to be ready by May 30.

• Donate. We can pass on your gifts of financial support to Lalpi. Details below.

• Celebrate. On Sunday May 30, we will set up shop in Prince Edward Park. Feel free to drop by sometime between 3:00pm and 5:00 pm for a Covid-compliant but in-person chance to give your congratulations and appreciation.

What should I put in the book?
Lalpi has served in ministry at Cityview for 18 years. We each have our own stories and memories of how his ministry has affected us. This is just one way of expressing your appreciation.
- Write the story of how God has worked through him in your experience.
- Create a photo collage. A digital collage can be done for free using www.canva.ca
- Write a poem
- Use paint, pastels, fibre arts, or pencil to beautify your page
If you need a creative jump-start, we will host a (Zoom) Creativity night on Monday, May 24. Check the WhatsApp for a Zoom link. You can also askTanyafor supplies.

You can drop off submissions at the church before May 30 or just bring them to the park on May 30. We'll bind it all up for them that day.

How do I donate?
Cheques should be made out to Lalpi Guite.
E-transfer gifts for Lalpi can be sent to giving@cityviewchurch.ca with “for Lalpi” in the message line. Please note that e-transfers to Cityview for Lalpi’s gift are not donations to Cityview and will not be included in your annual donation receipt.
